The Hong Kong Polytechnic University plans to build a 3-storey green platform at the Hung Hom Tunnel Toll Plaza, covering an area of 30,000 square meters, including extending from the toll plaza to the waterfront to connect to the multi-level observation deck of Victoria Harbour. The platform will be equipped with green space, exhibitions and community facilities for public use, and can also be connected to multiple exits such as MTR Hung Hom Station, Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade, Hong Kong Coliseum, ICON and PolyU main campus.

They said that they plan to build a green platform covering an area of about 30,000 square meters on the CHT toll plaza, with a total of about 24,300 square meters of outdoor green space on the platform and middle floors, consisting of seven theme parks.
Among them, it is proposed to add multi-purpose exhibition space, multi-level public viewing platform, retail and dining space, amphitheater, trampoline park, etc., and two indoor all-weather bus waiting rooms on the ground to improve the waiting experience of passengers.
In addition, the proposed greening platform will be equipped with an air purification system to purify the air pollutants generated by the traffic of the Cross-Harbour Tunnel.
