From June 2 to 5, the British capital will celebrate the 70 years of reign of Elizabeth II. All the information and our recommendations to attend this platinum jubilee.


June 2

  • Parade and Salute to the Flags

The historic festivities kick off on June 2, with a “Trooping the Colour” (or “salute to the flag”) parade.

For the occasion, no less than 1400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will take part in the event.

The parade will depart from Buckingham Palace and join the Horse Guard's Parade, located at the other end of The Mall Avenue.

The members of the royal family will then parade in carriages or on horseback.

The whole will end with the flypast of the Royal Air Force.
