The regulars' tables return to the Würmtal inns.

After two years of Corona, the beekeepers' association, "machBAR im Würmtal" or the Harley-Davidson club "Munich-Chapter Germany" meet again in the restaurant.

– "It's getting more every day," says Seda Özerol, who works at the "Lochhamer's El Diablo" restaurant in Graefelfing.

People wanted to go out and meet up with friends, and the clubs had resumed their regular meetings.

The Harley-Davidson club "Munich-Chapter Germany" has been meeting once a week outside of the pandemic for four years at Lochhamer's El Diablo.

"Six to 20 members take part in the regulars' table," says Andreas Lange, from the club's board.

"The regulars' table has existed since the chapter was founded - almost 30 years."

love for motorcycle

Anyone who shows up at Lochhamer's El Diablo loves to talk about motorcycles.

"Sometimes we also plan tours," says Lange.

During the lockdown, the members “didn’t meet in the bar, but online.

That was sometimes quite funny, because almost everyone was online for work during the day and then we talked in the evening over a beer or wine.” Anyone can come to the regulars’ table, regardless of whether they own a Harley or not, every Thursday from 6:30 p.m.

The last Friday of the month is beekeeping day at Lochhamer's El Diablo.

The "Graefelfing and Surroundings Beekeepers' Association", which had its regulars' table in the Pschorrhof until it closed in 2020, has now also become at home in business.

In the two Corona summers, the members arranged to meet in nature.

"The regulars' table didn't really work online," says Ursula Grünenwald, press spokeswoman.

Five to 15 beekeepers meet once a month.

"The face-to-face meeting is important," says Grünenwald.

"The exchange helps young beekeepers in particular."

The "Alter Wirt" in Kraillinger now also welcomes more regulars.

After almost all Corona rules were lifted, “there have been one or two more regulars’ tables,” they say.

From old men's regulars' tables to companies to card players, everything comes together here.

"machBAR in the Würmtal" in the Kraillinger brewery

The association "machBAR im Würmtal" is looking forward to holding a regulars' table in the "Kraillinger Brewery" for the first time on Wednesday, June 1st at 7 p.m.

The machBAR members, who are committed to promoting their own work and have been looking for rooms for open workshops for over four years, came together before the pandemic in the Planegger "Heide-Volm", which has been history since last March.

The machBar members remained very cautious throughout the Corona period and only met online.

The online regulars' table has advantages, for example, representations could be "displayed visually," says board member Torsten Friedrich.

But the group of participants is different, “which is partly due to the technical equipment, the understanding or the general discomfort with online communication.

In addition, there is a lack of coziness, and private exchange is also suffering.

That's over for now.

Friedrich: "Anyone who is interested in the club or would like to get a taste of it can come along"
