At first glance it seems that Ubisoft drew quite a bit of inspiration from the Rocket League game, but after delving into the small details of the gameplay we can notice that instead of football-cars we get a combination of roller blades with hockey, touches of bicycle racing in velodrome and basketball / Quidditch type from Harry Potter - You decide.
Players will team up to two teams of three-on-three players and compete in fast-paced rounds of action and adrenaline for ball control, and will have to complete a round in an entire arena before they can score a basket and win a point for their team, but once they complete two rounds The strategic and competitive of Roller Champions.

Players will be able to attack and repel their opponents or move the ball and combine several combos simultaneously - all to maintain control of the field, and unlike a game like Rocket League we do not seem to be required to "cheat" the laws of physics and navigate the figure in the air with the ball.
Like any game with a free model, Roller Champions will contain a store with digital currency that players can purchase various items to help them design and customize their character to their liking.
Roller Champions was first announced during the E3 2019 conference and was supposed to be released as early as the beginning of the year, but last February Ubisoft announced the postponement of the game in order to improve and refurbish the experience.

Whether you are a fan of Ubisoft or not, according to the trailer, the move seems to have paid off for her and she has created a casual competitive game that manages to stand on its own and not become another double trying to compete in the Rocket League.
So will the full experience really live up to expectations?
We'll find out
next week on May 25, when Roller Champions will be released for free on PC (on the Ubisoft platform), on the PlayStation 4/5, and on the Xbox One and Series X \ S.
