Five crew members of a tugboat died of drowning off Bari in southern Italy, when the ship which was going to Albania sank in the middle of a storm, announced this Thursday, May 19 the coast guard.

Only one crew member, the captain, survived the sinking of the "

", flying the Italian flag, which had launched a distress call on Wednesday evening: he explained that he was taking on water some 85 km off Bari in the Puglia, the heel of the Italian "
boot
".
The search launched immediately to find four Italians and a Tunisian "
resulted in the recovery of four bodies, and the identification at sea of another body, which is in the recovery phase
", indicated the coast guard in a press release. .
The captain was fished out safe and sound during the night, they said.
