The Palestinian presidency warned of the danger of the occupation's daily attacks on Jenin and its camp, calling on the international community to abandon formal statements of condemnation and to intervene immediately to stop them.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement resistance file in the northern West Bank, said that the occupation announced its intention to escalate its aggression against Jenin camp in the coming days, as it sent huge military reinforcements to the vicinity of the city, which has become besieged from several sides with its tanks and bulldozers, stressing that no matter how brutal the occupation is, Jenin will remain a stronghold. Resistance is insurmountable.
In turn, human rights researcher Aref Daraghmeh explained that not a day passes in Jenin and its camp and villages without incursions and attacks by the occupation, which have caused the death of 19 Palestinians since the beginning of this year, the most recent of whom was the martyr Daoud al-Zubaidi, who rose to prominence last Sunday, pointing out that the occupation forces deliberately kill Palestinians in addition to bombing Their homes were demolished, warning of the danger of the escalation of the occupation’s crimes in light of its military buildup in the vicinity of the city.
Director of the Palestinian Prisoners Club Montaser Sammour indicated that the occupation had arrested more than 260 Palestinians from Jenin since the beginning of the year, 177 of whom were arrested during its daily incursions into hundreds of homes in the city since March. Physical and psychological torture.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa Barghouti, indicated that the occupation, with its continuous incursions and systematic crimes, wants to break the fortress of resistance represented by Jenin and its camp, which continues to withstand its attacks, but it will fail despite its heinous crimes that amount to war crimes. Al-Barghouthi warned against repeating the occupation's aggression in 2002 when it invaded the West Bank, stressing that what is happening today is a gradual process of comprehensive aggression against Jenin and its camp, calling on the international community to move quickly to prevent it.
