The Russian network (VK) announced a new messaging application that will compete with the WhatsApp and Messenger applications of the American company Facebook.

The organizers of the Russian network indicated that the (VK Messenger) application will be independent of the main (VK) application, and through it, users will be able to communicate with the contacts on their phones and smart devices as well.

The new application contains all the functions found in the popular messaging applications and enables its users to exchange messages, make voice and video calls, and exchange files of up to 2 GB in size. Users of the application can use it to send messages that contain audio recordings as well, or use it to send the geographical location of their contacts Or even to transfer money.

This application provides the ability to control privacy settings in it, such as hiding the time of the last appearance of the user, for example, or specifying the display of electronic account data on the application.
