Some owners may see red when they receive their property tax notice next fall.
Marseille, Tours, Strasbourg… Twelve of the 42 largest cities and their intermunicipalities have decided to increase the property tax rates on built and unbuilt properties this year, according to the study on the taxation of large local authorities by the firm FSL , specialist in territorial financial information, published Thursday.
After recent relatively calm years in this very sensitive area, it is clear that elected officials are once again taking over taxation to bail out the coffers.
