Three people were injured in an explosion in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province in northern Afghanistan.
"The explosion targeted a minibus carrying a number of employees while they were on their way to work, injuring three people who were taken to a hospital in the area," Xinhua news agency quoted a provincial police spokesman as saying today, without any party claiming responsibility for it.
The spokesman indicated that investigations are underway to uncover the circumstances of the explosion.
