A train attendant made a valuable find on Tuesday on the train journey from Mittenwald to Munich.
Someone had left a high-quality violin.
Mittenwald - It often happens that valuable objects, including musical instruments, are forgotten on the train.
In this case, it is a replica of an Antonius Stradivarius violin, as reported by the Munich Federal Police.

Depending on the condition, comparable models are worth up to 11,000 euros.
A train attendant found the instrument and case on a regional train and gave it to the lost and found office on arrival in Munich.

From there, the federal police were informed about the valuable find, which took the violin to protect its ownership.
The federal police are asking for information on the origin or the owner of the violin on 089 515 550 1111.
