The weather along the coast of Guangdong is generally good. The weather forecast for Hong Kong today is partly cloudy at the beginning. It will be mostly fine and hot during the day, with a maximum temperature of about 30 degrees and mild to moderate east to southeasterly winds.

The Observatory looks forward to a brief period of sunshine over the weekend, hot days and a few showers early next week.

The Transport Department stated that due to a burst of water pipes, part of the traffic lanes of Castle Peak Road-Kwai Chung section (towards Sham Tseng) near Ho Chien Street have been closed, and motorists can only use the remaining traffic lanes.
