First there was pasta, then sunflower oil and flour. Now it's the turn of pots of mustard, eggs, vegetables in


They were believed to have disappeared in the remains of confinement.

And now the shortages are back on the shelves.

Whether dictated by the war in Ukraine, avian flu, social movements or climate change, they have been piling up for several weeks with clockwork regularity.

And are sometimes coupled with a formidable domino effect.

It was the pasta that got the ball rolling.

To the unprecedented drought last summer in Canada, the world's largest producer of durum wheat, was added the conflict in Ukraine.

As a result, for lack of raw materials, some Italian pasta manufacturers have been forced to seriously cut back.

Beyond the supply disruptions observed here and there in supermarkets, it is the soaring price of pasta shells in particular that has marked the spirits,

verging on a 60% increase this winter in six months for distributor brands.
