A fatal traffic accident occurred in Fanling. At about 8 pm today (20th), the police received a report that a middle-aged woman was hit by a private car and fell into a coma. He was confirmed dead after being taken to North District Hospital.

Police cordoned off the scene for investigation. The left front of the white Tesla private car was dented and the windshield burst. The male driver was arrested on suspicion of "dangerous driving causing death". He passed a breathalyzer test.
A large pool of blood and a pair of glasses were left on the road at the scene.
According to on-site information, a male driver in his 20s was carrying the same passenger in the private car. When he passed the pedestrian crossing at the above address, he hit the passing woman. The woman was knocked nearly 3 meters to the ground, and the private car rushed forward. Stopped after 10 meters, the police are investigating whether anyone did not follow the traffic lights to cross the road.

At about 8:40 p.m., a man surnamed Lin (26 years old) drove a private car along the Sha Tau Kok Highway-Long Yuetau section, heading towards Sha Tau Kok.
When driving to Bei Village, near Jundi, it was reported that she hit a woman who was passing by. She suffered head injuries and was taken to Bei District Hospital in a coma. She was confirmed dead at 9:23 pm.
The driver surnamed Lin was arrested on suspicion of "dangerous driving causing death" and is being detained.
