Inside report: How Germany trains its elite soldiers

On a park-like site in the money-saturated Hamburg suburb of Blankenese, Germany trains the people who will decide Germany's fate in the event of war.

Only those who are nominated will be admitted to the elite course at the Bundeswehr Command and Staff Academy.

And even of these, more than two-thirds are sent back home.

The manager magazin author Sonja Banze visited the academy, examined the curriculum and above all spoke to the participants.

In an interview with Sven Clausen, Banze provides information about the motivations of the elite soldiers, their special approach to complex decisions and discusses the question of whether the management culture in German companies will become more military again in the future.
