Hemp labyrinth in Kliemannsland: Hemp went to Sanity Group for a fee

In May 2021, Fynn Kliemann surprised his followers and community by planting a five-hectare hemp field on the Kliemannsland site in Lower Saxony.

Inside was a two-acre hemp-corn maze.

The plants ready for harvest should then be used in a biogas plant.

Part of the hemp went to the Sanity Group after remuneration.

This markets cannabis and CBD products under various brands - including VAAY.

Under VAAY, CBD products such as hemp oil or a sports gel are said to help with tension and sore muscles.

Oil from hemp plants: what is CBD?

The abbreviation "CBD" stands for cannabidiol.

It is extracted from the flower of the cannabis plant.

CBD is said to have a calming effect.

It is also anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anxiolytic.

Fynn Kliemann and VAAY: How did the collaboration with the hemp product manufacturer come about?

On Instagram last year, Kliemann said how enthusiastic he was about the sports gel that he used regularly for pain.

It was a CBD product.

A short time later, the cooperation with VAAY came about.

According to Thilo Grösch, spokesman for the Sanity Group, which also owns the VAAY brand, the collaboration was Kliemann's idea.

"Fynn Kliemann became aware of us through one of the products of our VAAY brand and contacted us about it."

Kliemann approached the company with the idea of cultivating commercial hemp on the open space on the Kliemannsland site.

After the harvest, part of it was sold to VAAY for further processing for the products.

"A joint product was also discussed here, but it never came to fruition," reports Grösch.

Get support from farmers: Kliemannsland independently responsible for the hemp field

As the spokesman for the Sanity Group explained, the Kliemannsland was independently responsible for the area.

He would have gotten the support of a farmer for this, the cultivation of industrial hemp is basically legal in Germany.

"Contrary to reports to the contrary, we have not leased any area on Kliemannsland or anything like that."

Kliemann received remuneration for hemp and influencer cooperation

According to the Sanity Group, after the harvest and delivery of the industrial hemp last late summer, there were no further projects.

There were still a few influencer collaborations on Instagram, "but it's been a while since the last one".

Fynn Kliemann received remuneration for the delivery of useful hemp and the influencer cooperation.

No information can be given about the exact amount.

However, it is "in the usual range".

And according to the hemp product manufacturer, this could remain the case if the allegations against Kliemann are correct.

The Sanity Group and VAAY distance themselves from the entrepreneur: "If the current allegations against Fynn Kliemann are not completely refuted, there will be no further cooperation with Fynn Kliemann in this form."

Thilo Grösch, spokesman for the Sanity Group

Cooperation with Kliemannsland ended for the time being: What's next for the hemp field?

The processing of the hemp project was done by the Sanity Group with the managing director and the team from Kliemannsland.

Kliemann himself was not involved in further communication and processing.

He just started the project.

When asked, Thilo Grösch explains that he cannot say what will happen to the area on the Kliemannsland site in the future.

"We cannot answer what happened to the hemp field in Kliemannsland, that is the sole decision of Kliemannsland, we are not and were not involved."

Economic consequences: hemp from the Kliemannsland is not significant

It will not be economically difficult for the hemp product manufacturer.

As the Sanity Group explains, five hectares is not a large area.

The harvested material is marginal compared to the other quantities and is not significant.

The hemp or hemp extracts for the products come in large quantities from independent farmers and suppliers, including Germany and other European countries.

The areas of the farmers who grow industrial hemp are "a good 50 - 100 hectares." "It was just a small project that we did together with the Kliemannsland, no more, no less," he explains press secretary.

Fynn Kliemann case: new information, emails and a report to the Rotenburg police

Meanwhile, there is no peace in the Kliemann case.

New information is constantly coming to light.

E-mails should prove that refugee camps are said to have paid for masks that were delivered incorrectly.

Meanwhile, the Rotenburg Police Inspectorate received information from the public.

There was also an ad.

The police are in close contact with the public prosecutor's office.
