Kassel - A twelve-year-old student has admitted to having been responsible for the irritant attack at the Waldau Open School in Kassel.

A released irritant caused a rescue and police operation on Thursday morning (May 19) at around 10:50 a.m. at the comprehensive school on Stegerwaldstraße in Waldau.
About 40 fifth-grade students and teachers were injured by the irritant.
The building had to be evacuated.
Kassel: Sprayed on the toilet with an irritant device
In the course of Thursday morning, the cause of the action could be determined.
The boy handed the Kassel police an irritant sprayer.
The twelve-year-old ruefully admitted to the officers of the East police station that he had sprayed the device in the boys' toilet, apparently not in anticipation of the later consequences.
