Enderndorf – Severe storms swept across northern Bavaria on Friday evening (May 20).
For a long time, the DWD warning level three has been in effect in some regions - warnings are given of severe storms with heavy rain, hurricane gusts and hail.
In other regions, the situation is calming down - and the first damage from the storm is becoming visible.
A hut collapsed in Enderndorf near Nuremberg, in which several people are believed to have sought shelter - at least eight people were injured, at least one seriously, reports the vifogra.de

In other regions of Bavaria, the fire brigade is trying to eliminate the first damage.
Meanwhile, DB Regio Bayern announced via Twitter that there were numerous trees on the tracks.
There are significant restrictions, the S-Bahn traffic on the Neustadt-Aisch-Steinach and Bad Windsbach-Wicklesgreuth routes has to be completely stopped.

In the center of Nuremberg, among other things, there were flooded cellars and a flood in Rothenburger Straße because a gully got blocked.

Severe weather conditions in Bavaria: In many regions it is still dangerous
As of Friday evening, there are still several severe weather warnings for many parts of Bavaria.
The DWD has warning level two for the south, and even warning level three for the east.
The full extent of the severe thunderstorms will probably only become visible on Saturday.
