As the German weather service reports, there are currently severe storms in northern Bavaria.
Northwest Bavaria is affected.

There are hurricane-like gusts with speeds of up to 110 km/h as well as heavy rain with precipitation amounts between 20 l/m² and 40 l/m² per hour and hail with grain sizes of around 2 cm.
The weather warning is valid up to and including 9 p.m.

The first thunderstorms are moving over Bavaria.
As the German weather service reports, it is particularly turbulent in the south, around the Allgäu, and in the west of the Free State.
Caution is advised in all parts.
The DWD reports: "There are thunderstorms.
There are gusts of wind with speeds of up to 85 km/h as well as heavy rain with precipitation amounts between 15 l/m² and 25 l/m² per hour and small-grain hail.”
The thunderstorms will move on in the course of the evening and night, and thunderstorms can also occur in the Munich region.

The upcoming weather situation for Bavaria is becoming more and more apparent – and it will probably be really uncomfortable.
Thunderstorms can be expected as early as Thursday evening, and severe thunderstorms are forecast for southern Bavaria on the DWD warning map.
Meanwhile, the threatening-looking storm front inevitably rolls towards Bavaria from the west.

The DWD expects turbulence for Bavaria, even tornadoes do not exclude the meteorologists for Franconia.
