Members of the Aleppo Fire Brigade recovered today the bodies of two children, aged 10 and 17, who drowned while they were swimming in the main traction channel of the Euphrates River, east of Aleppo, near the town of Tal Balat.
Brigadier General Mohsen Kinani, commander of the Aleppo Fire Brigade, told SANA reporter that immediately after the incident was reported, the rescue teams headed to the site and two members of the human frogmen dived into the water of the canal and retrieved the two bodies in a short time, and they were handed over to the forensic medicine department.
