After weeks of dithering,
the Matignon hotel finally has its new tenant.
The head of state finally preferred Élisabeth Borne to the elected LR Catherine Vautrin, who for several days was the subject of a real barrage of macronie fire.
She was even accused of homophobia, on the pretext that she had opposed marriage and adoption for homosexual couples in 2013.
Funny times when defending the right of the child to have a father and a mother disqualifies you for the highest office.
But back to Elisabeth Borne.
Even if her ministerial record ranks her among the moderates, she undeniably comes from the left.
The hopes of certain right-wing leaders, including Nicolas Sarkozy, to influence the majority in exchange for their rallying to Emmanuel Macron therefore seem inconclusive for the moment.
But no trial of intent: we will see in use what is the political software of the new Prime Minister.
