The Russian space agency, Roscosmos, announced that the launch date of the Russian spacecraft "Luna 25" to the moon will be next September.
Agency Director Dmitry Rogozin told RIA Novosti that the "Luna 25" spacecraft will be launched to the moon from the Vostochny Cosmodrome at the end of next September.
Rogozin had previously announced that the launch date of this vehicle depends on the results of the tests.
The main mission of the "Luna 25" spacecraft is to develop basic techniques for a soft landing in the south pole region of the Moon and conduct communication studies in this region.
