Visa and Mastercard could cause price increases in different products and worsen inflation

Consumers could soon see even higher prices at some stores, this is because of an increase from last month in Visa and Mastercard "slip fees," which add extra cost.

As a consequence, some retailers may be forced to pass on these costs to their customers by raising the prices of some products.
