A young man gave the revelers a real fright at the Grafinger Volksfest.

He ran across the festival grounds with a deceptively real-looking weapon and threatened people.

Ebersberg

– An 18-year-old from Ebersberg made a negative impression on the first evening of the Grafinger Grandau folk festival when he ran across the festival grounds with a blank gun just before midnight.

He then threatened people at the train station with the deceptively real-looking weapon.

Police arrested Ebersberger (18).

He was arrested by the police after a short pursuit.

The heavily intoxicated and mentally disturbed young man, who was already known to the officers through several similar appearances, was admitted to a specialist clinic.

A criminal case was opened.

This was announced by the police on Saturday, May 21st.

Despite the incident, she spoke of an overall peaceful folk festival evening.

A brawl near the train station broke out after the folk festival ended.

Two 22-year-olds and a 34-year-old got into an argument, then fists flew.

The exact process has yet to be determined.

One of the heavily intoxicated 22-year-olds resisted when the emergency services took him in.

Several ads await him now.

None of the opponents sustained serious injuries.
