- A century of fun on the stage must be celebrated in a very special way.

For the anniversary, the Ismaning Farmer's Theater is playing the classic "Der Brandner Kaspar looks into paradise" this year and wants to top everything that has gone before with the open-air performance from July 8th on eight evenings.

Advance sales for the performances start on Monday, May 23rd.

It feels like all Bavarian theater groups have already played this version of Brandner Kaspar, and it's no different in Ismaning.

For the 50th anniversary of the association, the farmer's theater chose this play to make history.

For the first time they played outdoors, at that time still in the inner courtyard of the church.

This performance was the first direction of Max Eisenreich - called Knaller Max in the village - and his then ten-year-old son Luis played a little angel for his stage anniversary.

Roles cast twice and three times

Today Luis is the 1st chairman at the head of the association, and the cracker Max is celebrating half a century in the ranks of the country theater.

For the director, this should be a qualification in a leading position, because the Ismaning Farmer's Theater has a number of young directors with great potential.

And this time, the former little angel Luis Eisenreich becomes the Boandlkramer.

He shares this leading role with Wolfgang Vogel, while Brandner Kaspar is cast twice with the two Ismaningen theater legends Konrad Schraufnagel and Bert Krasselt.

Advance sales: Monday, May 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hainhalle, then at Benz household goods in Ismaning.

In general, 35 actors ensure that the roles in the eight performances from July 8th to 30th are assigned twice or three times.

With the helpers behind the stage, around 80 people are involved in the open-air performances, and the Holledauer Bifischeißer are part of the performance as brass band music.

Five stage sets can be alternately illuminated in the grove next to the grove hall.

For Max Eisenreich, the theater classic is a particular challenge because most visitors already know the play from the theater or from television.

And that's exactly why the Ismaninger theater players want to add a few percent to the big anniversary and after a forced two-year break and implement the play more elaborately than many others.

In addition to the stage sets, grandstands for up to 450 visitors will be set up within sight of Ismaninger Castle.

Advance sales begin on Monday, May 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Ismaninger Hainhalle.

On this day, the farmer's theater takes over the sale itself.

After that, the tickets are available for 25 euros at Hauswaren Benz.
