Two kayakers in the US state of Minnesota found a skull estimated to be about 8,000 years old.
"The kayakers found the skull in the drained Minnesota River about 180 kilometers west of Minneapolis," District Police Chief Scott Hubble told the Associated Press. "FBI" where a forensic anthropologist used carbon dating to determine that it was likely to be the skull of a young man who lived between 5500 and 6000 BC.
