A Wolfratshauser (19) must be arrested so that he can avoid using his fists to solve problems in the future.

It doesn't help that he's insightful.

Wolfratshausen

– The accused confessed.

But he didn't have an explanation as to why he was in court for the second time in a year for hitting a roommate - "twice with his right fist on the left side of his face," as the indictment read.

"I didn't want to hit him, I don't know how that happened," said young Wolfratshauser (19).

"There was just too much conflict between us." Now he has to be in detention for a weekend.

The young man is ashamed in the dock

The dispute between the two young men broke out on December 9 last year.

The victim fell to the ground as a result of the two punches and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

But one thing that the prosecutor had read is not true, the accused corrected.

"She said: As a result of the altercation, he was unconscious for five minutes.

That's not true.” Which he is probably right about, because the certificate from the former roommate showed that he was “fully informed” during the medical examination.

Eleven months earlier, the 19-year-old had been in the dock before.

At that time he had punched his roommate in the ribs.

The court had waived measures involving deprivation of liberty because the trainee – who otherwise had never been conspicuous for any acts of violence – was undergoing psychotherapeutic treatment at the time.

However, the judge had made it clear to him at the time and also recorded this in writing in her judgment: If something like this happens again, there will be arrest.

In a conversation with the youth court help, the young man promised that "in future he would refrain from solving problems with his fists," reported Andreas Dlugosch.

After the most recent act, the accused had had several educational talks and had to go hiking on the Isar with his victim.

Since they are now also spatially separated, the problem seems to be over.

"I'm very sorry that I did that," said the 19-year-old.

"I am ashamed to be sitting in front of you again."

The juvenile court clerk confirmed that he was very insightful.

However, this does not cancel the arrest warning.

A recreational arrest should "show him where the journey will go if there are more physical injuries," said Dlugosch.

Judge Friederike Kirschstein-Freund followed the recommendation.

"Unfortunately, that was unavoidable," she explained her decision.

"Take it as a reminder: hitting it with your fists isn't possible at all.

Anyone who does that goes to jail.”
