The Economic Investment Forum, which was held in Tartous under the slogan (Investing in Youth Ideas to Create a Better Future), focused on establishing service development projects that contribute to the economic renaissance.

The forum, which is organized by the Junior Chamber International in Tartous in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Syrian International Investment Development Center, aims to create a link between investors and project owners, whether existing ones on the ground or those still in the form of ideas awaiting implementation.

In its three sessions, the forum discussed several axes, including the economic forces that support the Tartous Governorate and the employment of effective institutions to support investment projects while presenting a vision towards the optimal investment of human resources.

The representative of the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Samer Soussi, emphasized in his speech the ministry's support for the projects and ideas presented at the forum to become effective and contribute to the development of the national economy at this stage.

In turn, Mazen Hammad, Chairman of the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry, pointed out the importance of investing the energies of the Syrian youth and supporting them to build the country, considering them to be the guarantee of its future and the mainstay of its renaissance.

The head of the Young Chamber in Tartous, Ali Habeili, explained in a statement to SANA reporter the importance of the role of youth in the development and development process, pointing to the components and advantages that the governorate enjoys in human and natural terms.

The forum was attended by Satinder Kumar Yadi, Commercial Attaché Chargé d'Affairs of the Indian Embassy, ​​Muhammad Jawad Nouri, Commercial Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Adham Abd al-Din, Head of the Syrian International Investments Development Center, and a number of businessmen and investors.
