Labor Party Anthony Albanese declared victory in Australia's parliamentary election on Saturday, saying his fellow citizens had "
voted for change
" by ending nine years of Conservative government.

The Australian people voted for change
," said Albanese in his victory speech, promising to turn Australia into
a renewable energy "
superpower ".
He also announced that he would participate, as the new Australian Prime Minister, in the Quad summit (United States, Australia, India, Japan) scheduled for Tuesday in Japan.
