an extensive thorn burning is raging at this time (Saturday) near Majd al-Krum.

For more than an hour, four fire crews have been working from a central Galilee station in a large thorn fire raging east of Majd al-Krum near Carmiel.
Under the auspices of the strong winds, the fire began to advance towards the first line of houses in the village.
On the recommendation of the commander of the incident, Rabbi Reshef Uzi Bashan, the police forces announced to the residents to evacuate.
A quartet of planes from the Elad firefighting squadron operate on the scene and place firefighting foam on the line of houses to prevent the fire from spreading into the village.

2 crews rushed to the incident and realized there was a danger to homes.
Additional crews were rushed to the scene, as well as firefighting planes that are helping to contain the fire.
"Currently, firefighters are continuing to control the fire."
