In appreciation of their sacrifices, Homs Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, honored today 300 families and families of the martyrs of the army and armed forces on the stage of the House of Culture in the city.
During the honoring, a documentary film was shown that embodied bright images of heroism and redemption for the makers of the legendary victory over terrorism from the righteous sons of Syria. The group of the Directorate of Culture in Homs presented a number of patriotic songs.
In his speech, the Governor of Homs, Bassam Parsik, saluted “every family who gave their livers for love and dignity for the homeland, embodying the most wonderful images of loyalty and loyalty,” stressing that “Syria is victorious and will always remain free and proud.”
In turn, the Secretary of the Homs branch of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party, Omar Houriya, drew attention to “the lofty meanings and noble values of martyrdom and martyrs, and that whatever we offer to the families and families of the martyrs is not worth anything in front of their great sacrifices,” addressing “a salute and honor to the pure souls and to the Syrian Arab Army, the maker of victories... and to Syria that is victorious with the wisdom of its leader.” and the will of its people.
For his part, Major General Bassam Berri, Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Persons at the Ministry of Defense, pointed to the nation’s pride and victory with the blood of its pure sons from among the loyal martyrs, and said: “In front of their heroism and sacrifice, all gifts become smaller… We pledge to God, the homeland and the leader of the country that the blood of the martyrs will remain a trust and a beacon that illuminates for generations the prosperous future of Syria.” “.
A number of the families and families of the honored martyrs expressed their pride in the martyrdom of their sons, as the mother of the two martyrs, Muhammad and Hafez Saqr, said that “Syria is dear to our hearts and deserves sacrifice from all of us,” while the families of the martyrs Ibrahim Suleiman, Mualla Al-Ahmad, Hamza Alonous and Ibrahim Shahoud said: “The blood and sacrifices of their children will not be lost yet. To write the great victory over terrorism, calling for “mercy for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and a safe return for the missing.”
At the end of the event, medals were distributed to the families and families of the honored martyrs.
The honoring was attended by General Mahmoud al-Shawa, Deputy Minister of Defense, head of the Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs Committee in the ministry, commander of Homs Governorate Police, and wide partisan, official, religious and civil activities.
