Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation announced today their intention to cooperate in the field of uranium mining.
Kazakh Prime Minister Ali Khan Ismailov and Director General of the Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation Rosatom Alexei Likhachev said during their talks in the Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan that Kazakhstan and Russia intend to cooperate in the field of uranium mining, RIA Novosti news agency reported.
The two sides also discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of nuclear energy.
In turn, Likhachev expressed his interest in further investment in the field of uranium mining in Kazakhstan.
