Because he is handling a knife, a man flies from Kassel to Frankfurt on the regional express.
But the traveler does not want to be satisfied with that.
Kassel/Frankfurt – A knife in a regional express from Kassel to Frankfurt caused a major deployment by the federal police.
The situation threatened to escalate in Wabern in the Schwalm-Eder district.
A train driver may have prevented an accident with his quick reaction, the police said.
What happened?
A 34-year-old from Nieste handled the regional express (RE 4167) in front of other train passengers with a knife.
When he stopped at Wabern train station, a train attendant threw the man off the train.
A previously notified patrol from the Federal Police Inspectorate in Kassel recorded the man's personal details and secured the knife, as reported by hna.de.

But the man didn't want to give up his trip to Frankfurt and waited at the platform for the next train.
However, he lay down so close to the edge of the platform that the track had to be closed for a short time.
A train driver on an approaching train saw the man lying dangerously close to the platform and reported it to the emergency control center.
As a result of the incident, a train was delayed by almost 25 minutes.
A police patrol had to move in again and get the man out of the danger area.
The Federal Police Inspectorate in Kassel is investigating.
