British Health Secretary Sajid Javid confirmed on the same day that there were 11 more cases of monkeypox in the country, bringing the total to 20. He also mentioned that the authorities have produced an effective vaccine against monkeypox.

In addition to Europe, the WHO reported cases of monkeypox in Canada and the United States, respectively, and two cases in Australia, who had recently traveled to the United Kingdom and Europe.
