A man suspected of having killed a clerk of the Perpignan tribunal de grande instance in February has been indicted for murder and imprisoned, we learned from the prosecution on Saturday.

A second person was indicted and imprisoned for concealment of theft with violence, and a third was placed under the status of assisted witness for "
complicity in murder
", clarified to AFP Jean-David Cavaillé, the prosecutor of the Republic of Perpignan.
The prosecution, which referred to a "
complex investigation
", did not wish to give details on the motives of the crime.
According to the local daily L'Indépendant, four people were arrested earlier this week as part of this investigation into the murder of the clerk, who was found dead in early February in his apartment in Perpignan.
