The Arc de Triomphe, isolated in the center of the Place de l'Etoile (Paris 8th), an enormous "roundabout" of twelve avenues pierced in the 19th century by Baron Haussmann, today seems inaccessible to pedestrians.
Some tourists still try to attack the monument by facing the flow of cars.
