Siemens Energy wants to buy all of its Spanish wind power subsidiary Siemens Gamesa.

There has long been speculation as to whether Siemens Energy will completely take over its wind power subsidiary Gamesa.

The company has now made an offer.

Munich - The energy technology group Siemens Energy wants to buy its Spanish wind power subsidiary Siemens Gamesa completely and take it off the stock exchange.

The company, which already holds 67.1 percent of Gamesa, wants to pay EUR 18.05 per share, as announced on Saturday.
