The conclusion of the Aleppo physical strength championship

With the participation of twenty-eight male and female players, the Aleppo Revitalization Championship with physical strength “Bunch Press” for men and women was concluded, which was set up by the Technical Committee in the Promising Champion Hall in the Sports City in Hamdania.

The first places in the women’s category were won by Rama Arouk, 69 kg, Aya Azraq, and 76 kg, Fatima Khaled Kaakeh. Thus, Aleppo Police Club achieved first place in the general standings with 33 points, followed by Al-Hurriya Club with 12 points.

First in the men’s category came Muhammad Nour Qamand, 66 kg, Ahmed Fouad Shahat, 74 kg, Muhammad Amin Hosari, 83 kg, Ali Qaband, 93 kg, Nohad Hamdoun, 105 kg, Ahmed Ajam, 120 kg, Abdel Wahab Hamami, for the Freedom Club to take first place in the competition. General ranking with 52 points, then Aleppo Police with 51 points, and Aleppo Army Club with 33 points.

In a statement to SANA's sports reporter, the head of the Technical Committee for Physical Strength, Muhammad Sheikh Diya, indicated that the tournament witnessed a good technical level, strong competition, and participation that is the widest for the female categories.

The players who won the first places expressed their willingness to compete vigorously for the titles of the weight championships in which they will participate in the upcoming Republic Championship, noting that the next stage will witness intensive training in order to reach the required skill level.

It is noteworthy that the Republic Championship for physical strength “Bunch Press” will be held on the twenty-sixth of this month at Al-Fayhaa Hall in Damascus.
