The Fermo Forest and Fire Monitoring Platform announced that most of the forest sites in northwest Syria were affected today by a very high and very high level of danger, while the rest of the sites remain under the influence of the medium level.
The platform clarified on its official Facebook page that the fire risk levels are high in the north of Lattakia and southwest of Hama, and they will begin to recede from tomorrow, with limited locations in the forests north of Lattakia remaining below the high level of risk.
The platform called not to light any fires and to report any fire or smoke on the designated numbers 188 and 113.
