It's a scenario worthy of
Titanic
(but ends well).
Friday, May 20, a young woman got stuck in the elevator of her building located in Sarcelles, in Val-d'Oise, reports
Le Parisien
.
Wedged between two floors, it was impossible for her to open the doors even though a major leak of water was gradually invading the premises.

She first tries to activate the emergency button.
In vain: probably because of the leak, the latter is unusable.
However, she manages to call her brother, who alerts the fire department.
"
The water came from below but also from above, on both sides and it made a waterfall noise
," explained the young woman to
Parisian,
imagining herself already drowning.
But fortunately, the firefighters arrive in time: when they succeed in opening the doors with a crowbar, the young woman is in water up to her waist.
On Instagram, the victim's brother said he was surprised that such a large leak could have taken place in "
new housing delivered 7 months ago
".
According to
Le Parisien
, the latter would consider filing a complaint.
