Once again this year, L'Oréal Paris, a historic partner since 1997, sent its squad of make-up artists and muses to the Croisette.

If some moviegoers have regretted in the past that “its” models under contract are more applauded there than the stars of the big screen, the first beauty brand in the world is now refocusing on the cinema.

And honors an aspiring director with its Lights on Women award.

- Your massive presence on the Croisette has sometimes surprised, what has changed in 25 years?

- Cannes remains one of the most important festivals in the world and the arrival of digital has multiplied its resonance.

Our partnership allows us to support the film industry, it is an event that is expensive and needs funding.

We ourselves have refocused on cinema and our muses.
