33 people were killed in a storm that hit eastern India.
"The storm that swept the state of Bihar killed 33 people, destroyed many homes, and caused major damage to several districts in the state," local media quoted local authorities as saying.
The chief minister of the state announced the provision of financial assistance of 400,000 Indian rupees, equivalent to 5,140 US dollars, to the affected families.
