A 43-year-old man from Haifa fell from a height today (Sunday) during his work at the Strauss factory in the Galilee landscape - and was killed.
The Israel Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident in collaboration with a work accident investigator from the Ministry of Labor and Welfare who was invited to the scene.
Strauss, the second largest food company in Israel, has experienced a serious crisis in recent months.
As you may recall, in April, Strauss performed an unprecedented recall of a wide range of elite chocolate products.
In response, production at the plant located in the Galilee landscape was stopped, until Strauss completed the tests and ensured that all chocolate production was completely clean.
