Lenggries – On the way back from a birthday party in a mountain hut in Brauneck early Sunday morning, a 54-year-old fell into a creek bed with her e-bike and was seriously injured.
Serious e-bike accident on a forest road at Brauneck
According to the police, the woman from Uffing am Staffelsee drove down a forest road from the hut at the foot of the mountain at around 4.15 a.m. when she lost control of her Liv bicycle.
She fell into the stream running parallel to the forest road.
The woman was able to drag herself to other party guests, who immediately called the emergency services.
She was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries.

According to the police's current knowledge, the woman was traveling alone and was probably not wearing a helmet.
Due to the severity of the injuries, the public prosecutor's office requested an expert to clarify the cause of the accident.
When the police officers smelled alcohol, they drew blood from the woman.
The e-bike was badly damaged.
