The Directorate of Education, in cooperation with the Norwegian Refugee Council, concluded the adolescent education package project implemented in a number of schools in the city of Al-Hasakah.
The Director of Education, Ilham Surkhan, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the adolescent education package project targeted 200 male and female students with a basic education certificate in five middle schools in the city of Al-Hasakah, namely the schools of Naim Al-Luji, Al-Jawahiri, Omar bin Abdul Aziz, Ahmed Yassin and Zuhdi Karim Hanna, by providing them with intensive reinforcement lessons for the two subjects. The Arabic language and mathematics and the application of a program towards better learning that would increase the student's educational attainment.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Education completed the children's education package project, which it is implementing in cooperation with the Norwegian Refugee Council in a number of schools in the cities of Al-Hasakah and Qamishli, targeting dropout students.
