Queen Elizabeth will apparently not take part in the traditional Trooping the Color parade during her jubilee celebrations - for the first time in 70 years.
London – After Queen Elizabeth (96) had to cancel her participation in this year's opening of Parliament, the next bad news follows.
For the first time in seven decades, the Queen will not be attending the Trooping the Color Parade, according to British media reports.
And of all things in their platinum anniversary year.
Bad news for the throne jubilee: Trooping the Color Parade without Queen Elizabeth
With several appearances in the past few weeks, Queen Elizabeth had not only made headlines, but also brought great relief to the British people.
After she had to stay away from the opening of parliament and the Easter service for health reasons, many royal fans were again afraid for the 96-year-old.
A little later, however, when she appeared as lively and happy as she had not been at the Royal Windsor Horse Show for a long time and also took part in the opening of a subway line named after her, there was a general sigh of relief.
For most Britons it was also clear that the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of their head of state could not be in danger and that the celebrant would have to be fit enough to be present at various program items.
But the fact that she will now apparently miss one of the big highlights puts a tremendous strain on the mood.

Bad news for the throne jubilee: Charles, Anne and William should step in
As reported by the “Express”, among other things, the Queen should be represented by Prince Charles (73), Princess Anne (71) and Prince William (39) at the Trooping the Color Parade.
For the first time in 70 years, she could not personally accept the traditional "Royal Salute" due to her mobility problems.
According to the Sunday Telegraph, hopes have not yet been entirely given up that the monarch could show up at least briefly at the military parade.
Various measures have already been taken to make the 96-year-old's appearance as comfortable as possible.
Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations begin on June 2 and last for four days.
In addition to the Trooping the Color Parade, the "People's Pageant" with a performance by Ed Sheeran (31) and the "Platinum Party at the Palace" mark the highlights of the festivities.
Diana Ross (78), Alicia Keys (41), Queen + Adam Lambert and Duran Duran perform at the gigantic concert on the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
