Despite wearing a helmet, a racing cyclist was seriously injured in an accident in Straßlach on Saturday.
A driver hit him completely.
Straßlach-Dingharting
– A racing cyclist had to be flown to the hospital with the rescue helicopter after an accident on Saturday in Straßlach-Dingharting.
According to the police, a 58-year-old woman from Munich had turned off the Münchner Straße in the direction of the pond with her Mini Cooper and had overlooked the cyclist.
Racing cyclist bounces on the hood
The 30-year-old from Munich was thrown onto the hood and against the windshield and, despite his helmet, was seriously injured: multiple fractures and trauma.
The woman was unharmed.
