Deir ez-Zor city is currently exposed to strong winds that carry dust and obscure vision.
The Director of Health in Deir ez-Zor, Dr. Bashar Al-Shuaibi, told SANA reporter that the directorate announced raising the readiness of its hospitals and its medical points to receive emergency cases for asthma patients, which are increasing in such an atmosphere.
Al-Shuaibi called on everyone in general, especially asthmatic patients, not to go out in this atmosphere except for necessity until the intensity of the dust storm decreases in order to preserve their health and safety.
A dust storm hit Deir ez-Zor on the 15th of this month and caused the death of a man and his son.
