The "leaders" organization, which is leading the protest, explained that it broke out due to the lack of dialogue with Education Minister Yifat Shasha Bitton over the salary agreement of the school principals.
Lilach Sapir, a teacher at Urban A in Tel Aviv, joined the principals in the protest.
"I'm a restaurateur and this year I chose to start teaching math following an old dream," she said, "The salary I get is like I'm 23. You have to have the means to be a teacher. And a lot of teachers are leaving, "she said.
