On Saturday morning (May 21) there was a collision with a truck and a mobile home on the A94.
The driver of the RV died at the scene of the accident.
There is a total lockdown.

On Saturday morning there was a serious accident between a mobile home and a truck on the A94 in the direction of Munich, between Burghausen and Neuötting

As the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria South now confirms in a press release, the 78-year-old driver of the mobile home died.

The camper-trailer team had stopped on the hard shoulder after a breakdown.
A 51-year-old professional driver from Slovakia brushed the side of the stationary mobile home and, according to the police, also caught the driver of the mobile home.
This had probably got out after the breakdown and was on the road.
It is not yet clear why the incident happened.
The public prosecutor's office in Traunstein has commissioned an expert opinion to clarify the course of the accident.
The 78-year-old pensioner from the Stuttgart area died at the scene of the accident, the 83-year-old partner of the driver and the truck driver suffered a shock.
They were taken to nearby hospitals.
The mobile home is believed to be a total loss.
A tow truck was hired to salvage the damaged vehicles.
A total of around 50 emergency services from the motorway maintenance department, the Markt, Marktlberg, Alzgern and Neuötting fire brigades and the technical relief organization were on site.

The police speak of another injured person who has suffered shock.
The exact course of the accident is currently still unclear, as a spokesman for the police headquarters in Oberbayern-Süd told Merkur.de.
According to initial police assessments, there was an incident between the truck and the breakdown mobile home when it was probably on the hard shoulder.

After the accident, the A94 is completely blocked in the direction of Munich from the Burghausen motorway exit.
