(ANSA) - TRANI, 22 MAY - The balance of the collision in flight between two ultralights that occurred this morning in the countryside of Trani, about 50 kilometers north of Bari, is two dead and one injured. An aircraft crashed and the two people on board died ;
the other made an emergency landing on agricultural land not far from the first: the pilot was taken to the hospital where he is hospitalized with red code, but would not be in danger of life.
The ultralight on which the two deceased people were traveling crashed in Casalicchio, while the other landed on uncultivated land near via Vecchia Barletta, not far from the first aircraft.
Both had departed from the Gargano airfield located in the Macerone district, in San Giovanni Rotondo (Foggia), and were headed for Lecce.
